Tilbury Scaffolding Limited, Assessed Members of the Scaffolding Association, have been working at Glastonbury House in Pimlico, London, to provide access for a new cladding riser to be erected.
The team faced a challenge to work around live pipework in the building’s basement.
Jason Davis – one of Tilbury’s Directors – had previously scaffolded the building back in the 1980s so had prior knowledge of the building and its unique challenges to call upon.
Liam Aslett – Tilbury’s other Director – has previously worked for a business that erected and fabricated temporary works for various large demolition projects all over the UK.
Combining these experiences ensured the team could swiftly, safely and effectively fulfil their brief by erecting a temporary works system that could take the scaffold and hoist load placed upon it.
