Workplace expert, Acas, has published its new strategy today that outlines ambitions to make working life better for everyone in the years ahead.
Acas Chief Executive, Susan Clews, said:
“The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has impacted workplaces across the UK. During this immensely challenging period, our staff did a great job in adapting how they work to continue to deliver our essential services to customers.
It is a testament to them that for every £1 of funding Acas receives, we save the taxpayer £12, as well as delivering on our key purpose to make working life better for everyone in Britain.
Our new 4-year strategy recognises and anticipates the new changes to the world of work as we recover from the pandemic.”
The Acas strategy consists of 4 ambitions:
- growing Acas’s reach and widening access to services
- resolving disputes more quickly and effectively
- forging consensus on the future of work
- embracing difference, increasing inclusion, creating fairness
